Like many love stories, this one began when we were introduced by our mutual lifelong friend, pizza. William had just begun working at Papa John's while he was on break from college. It was the end of my shift when William walked in; little did I know that it was actually... only the beginning. I had never been so stricken- not only was this boy ridiculously adorable but he also had a laugh that could light up the room. But then I realized that he was watching me as well. I went from moving with such finesse and speed to instantly somehow transforming into a jellyfish with cement shoes. The pizza I was taking out of the oven jumped to its death and did a bellyflop onto the floor. I stared at the lifeless pizza. The pizza stared back at me. William cracked up. It was the beginning of something magical.

A few months later we began dating and a few years after that we found ourselves here- engaged and planning a wedding as we snuggle our first adopted baby together- Choji the Cat. We act as constant reminders to each other to laugh often and love fiercely. I teach him patience and he teaches me perseverance. With love, all things grow, and so grow we shall.
