Our Wedding

You know how they all say when you've met the one you'll know it in your heart? How the world stops as soon as you meet your soulmate? Well that is our love story and we didn't realize our invisible string until later. We always talk about how we knew right after our first date that our souls were meant for each other. We met in our Russian class over zoom and we quickly both grew a little crush on each other. Our first date consisted of 7 hours at Green lake and gas works where we talked about how we grew up, what we loved to do, and our deepest aspirations in life. It didn't take long before we became boyfriend and girlfriend exactly 7 days later. A month later, we took a trip to Leavensworth where we talked about our future together. We light heartedly talked about how many kids we want, where we want to live when we're old, and jokingly set a date of June 22nd, 2024. After that trip, we kept living life. We studied together, cooked together, and met each others family/friends. In 2021 we adopted a kitty who is now known to be "the king of the household" aka Marty and shortly after moved into our first apartment in Roosevelt together where we brought home our golden-doodle Moose. We both ended up graduating from the University of Washington and before we knew it January 1st, 2023 came around and we said "what the heck, let's get married!" and we booked a trip to Spokane where we booked our wedding venue for June 22nd, 2024. From then on, we have been ecstatic to celebrate with our loved ones as we become husband and wife!

Abigail Young

When I first met Maksim, I never thought that would also come with finding my future maid of honor and best friend. From the laughter-filled nights, to the shared adventures, like Mexico, Abby has always been there for me. We've even dreamt of having kids at the exact same time, envisioning a future where our little ones would mirror the bond we share.As I stand on the precipice of matrimony, I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Abs my best friend– your presence is the greatest gift. To a future filled with laughter, I am truly the luckiest to have you by my side.

Christine Kim

Christine and I became inseparable long before we could even tie our shoes – a connection rooted in the deep friendship of our mothers. Born into this special bond, we've been more than friends; we're practically siblings. Christine has been a constant source of joy in my life, always ready with a quick wit that always has me laughing on the floor until my stomach hurt. Her unwavering support and infectious enthusiasm continually inspire me to be the best version of myself and I could not imagine my life without her.&nbsp;

Ashley Yang

Ashley and I go way back—to the very first day of kindergarten, to be exact. The first day I was scared out of my mind to be away from my mom for that long and Ashleys' warm and kind spirit found a way to calm me down. From that day forward, we have always found a way to create joyful memories. Through endless sleepovers to living together and navigating the excitement of Greek life in college, Ashley has been a constant listening ear and has guided me through childhood to adulthood. She is truly a girls best friend and is so special to me.&nbsp;

Emily Yang

Emily and I share a bond that time has only strengthened— navigating childhood alongside her &amp; Ashley, we were like the three musketeers. Emily has been with me through every chapter of life, witnessing me on the floor either at my lowest, bawling my eyes out or crying from laughter. Together, we've weathered the lowest lows and celebrated the highest highs. Everything we have been through together is something I will forever cherish. Here's to Em, you have gotten me through my darkest times.


There was an immediate spark of connection when I ran into Sean during brotherhood week. We found each other wearing the exact same outfit down to the brand. That point onward our bond felt organic and was strengthened during our pledge quarter. Everything from late night walks to immaculate vibes on the dance floor - it just felt perfect. We went on to be the best rush chair duo the greek system has ever seen. We also most definitely had the best double (roomates) in the house! We continued to grow together throughout college and shared many great memories along the way. Meeting my best man through a fraternal organization was an unexpected yet unforgettable experience that cemented our lifelong brotherhood beyond the fraternity. 


Sean Guevarra 

Growing up in the same elementary, middle & high school was the spark of friendship. From being my upperclassmen role model to soccer teammate I couldn't have asked for a better friend growing up. Continuing to build friendships after high school is rare but I knew our bond was like no other. Long summer days bled into late night adventures which turned out to be our  bread & butter. The memories of our friendship seem to have span the entirety of our existence & I cant wait to continue. 

Omar Salcedo 

Going to the same high school we never spoke much and it wasn't until a chance encounter at a mutual friend's gathering that would later be the solidifying moment in our friendship. From that point in time onwards it felt like we found ourselves drawn to each other like moths to a flame. Sharing similar interests in sports, cars, and many other topics welded our bond. I am forever thankful that we struck up a conversation at Arzu’s grad party because little did we know it would lead to greatness. 

Luka Radic 

At first it seemed like another ordinary introduction from a friend of a friend. For months it felt that way until we coincidentally crossed paths at a UW class. Not only was our connection reignited, but we also bonded over our complimentary personalities. Finding academic success together while solidifying our friendship was a great way to wrap up spring quarter. I will forever by grateful for the unique bond we share.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin punctually at 5:00pm. Please arrive around 15-20min before then to mingle with our loved ones and find a seat!

What is the dress code?

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear a suit (button up) &amp; tie. No jeans/sweatshirts please!

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation unless stated otherwise. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors.

Can I take pictures?

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos and film as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premise.

Will there be parking?

Yes! We will have dedicated staff members upon your arrival to help with finding the perfect parking spot for you.
