Our story began in March 2020 — the world was on pause, but somehow, love found a way. They matched on Bumble and spent a week getting to know each other before going on their first date at Texas Roadhouse. Sabina brought her dog, Sis, and Matt was instantly charmed by both of them. After dinner, they stayed up talking at Sabina’s apartment until 2 a.m. and just knew — this was something different.

Not long after, they made it official. Just two weeks in, Matt blurted out, “I love you,” without a second thought. From that moment on, they were in it together — through all of life’s ups, downs, and unexpected moments.

Matt proposed during a trip to visit one of Sabina’s college teammates in Ohio. He found the perfect bridge in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and convinced a very cold and reluctant Sabina to keep walking — even when she didn’t see the point. Eventually, he spun her around, got down on one knee, and shared his dream of traveling the world with the woman that he loved.

And now, they can’t wait to start that next big adventure — together.
