Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?
No, the ceremony will take place at Hopewell Presbyterian Church, and the reception will follow at The Hubbard home.
Why does my invitation say reception?
Due to the intimate size of the church, we have very limited seating. As a result, only the wedding party and immediate family will be attending the ceremony. While we wish we could have everyone there, we truly hope you will join us for a beautiful reception to celebrate together!
Why is the ceremony and reception scheduled for later in the day?
June 21st is the longest day of the year, so to keep everyone comfortable, we’ve scheduled the reception for 7:30 PM. This way, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset and a cooler evening!
What is the dress code?
We ask that you wear dressy-casual attire. We request that women wear dresses or nice blouse and pants! Men can wear button downs and/or sports coats with khakis or dress slacks. We want you to be comfortable and cool so keep in mind the venue is outdoors!
