The Clark Sports Center

You can't visit Cooperstown without a stop at the groom's family brewery! Roger &amp; Maureen opened Council Rock in May 2012 and their children, Michael, Ryan, Emily, and Will's wife, Marissa, have worked there over the years. Roger's sister, Becky, manages the waitstaff and completes much of the paperwork. Roger, a retired Chemistry &amp; Biology teacher, developed the recipes for each of the 12 featured beers. The menu feautures THE BEST burger you will ever eat, in addition to pulled pork, hand-made (by Roger) bratwurst, various hot &amp; cold sandwiches, fish tacos, and delicious salads. A local favorite is our garlic/pesto french fries (don't forget to ask for the aioli sauce to dip them in)! Families are welcome!

Council Rock Brewery

This is a great, internationally-known Belgian-style brewery, located just outside of Cooperstown. Food and flights are available. Call to schedule a tour/tasting.

Brewery Ommegang

Cooperstown is not called "The Perfect Village" for nothing! Take a walk down the flowered main street, enjoy the unique shops (not all are baseball), and stop by Lakefront Park, behind the post office. The park faces beautiful Otsego lake and is a great place to sit on a bench and watch the sailboats or look at the boats moored to the dock.

Rent a canoe or kayak and paddle around Otsego Lake! Great service! Tandem kayaks available. Do not have to book in advance, but may want to with summer tourism. Life jackets provided. No age restrictions for tandem kayaks (can bring a small child). Take a walk around beautiful Brookwood Gardens when you're done!

Rent a motor boat, pontoon, or fishing pole! No boating license required. When you are done, have lunch or dinner at The Blue Mingo, right next to the docks! Beautiful waterfront dining! Very nice gift shop at entrance to restaurant. Reservations for rentals and dining recommended.

Sam Smith's Boat Yard

Beautiful, small private beach on Otsego Lake with sand, sand toys, life guards, bathrooms, boating/fishing dock, grills, and a pavillion. About $5-7.00/carload. Some beach chairs are available. Can bring in food &amp; drink, but need to be discreet with beverages.

Three Mile Point

Delectable, upscale dining experience right on the waterfront of Otsego lake! Dine-in or on the patio overlooking the water. Anything goes, attire-wise. Reservations recommended.

Blue Mingo Grill

This is our caterer and longtime friend, Brian Wrubleski. His culinary skills are topnotch! He opened Mel's a few years after his wife unexpectedly died and named it after her, Maryellen (Mel). Excellent choice for lunch or dinner, especially if you plan to wander Cooperstown's beautiful Main Street. Our wedding is the last wedding Brian plans to cater as he is handing off the business to his beautiful daughter, Alex, so expect the food to be delectable!
