We met on Match.com. He liked her photos, and she swiped right.

We got engaged on December 12th, 2023 in a little private cottage at the Pierpont Inn in Ventura, CA. A wonderful harbor dinner proceeded the proposal/engagement.

This is a tricky one...Our initial encounter took place in September 2017. Therefore, the overall duration will amount to 7 years and one day on the day of our wedding. Nevertheless, due to a few instances of separation, our actual time spent together will be 4 years and 5 months when we tie the knot.

For safety reasons, we made the decision to meet in Santa Clarita instead of Simi Valley (you don't always know who you are meeting online). We chose Lazy Dog as our lunch spot, taking advantage of my day off on September 13th which was a Wednesday. Although we initially planned for a quick hour-long lunch, our conversation flowed so effortlessly that time slipped away. We both ordered the chicken parmesan and got so engrossed in our discussion that my mom even texted to check if everything was alright. To reassure her, we took our very first photo together and sent it, letting her know I was safe and sound. As the day progressed, we strolled around the mall multiple times before he kindly walked me to my car. Little did we know, our lunch date would turn into an unexpected 7-hour adventure.
