Our journey began at Roger Williams University, where we both lived in the same dorm building as freshmen. While we knew of each other, it wasn’t until sophomore year that sparks flew, and we officially started dating on October 16, 2017.

Our first date was at Thames Waterside Bar & Grill, where we shared great conversation and a funny moment that still makes us laugh. Sabrina ordered a Caprese salad, thinking it was a traditional leafy salad—only to discover it was just slices of tomato, mozzarella, and basil!

College brought us closer, but it also meant navigating long-distance during breaks. Sabrina would return home to New Jersey while David was in Massachusetts, and even after graduation, COVID kept us apart longer than we had hoped. Despite the challenges, we always found a way to make it work.

In the summer of 2020, everything changed when Sabrina landed a job in Massachusetts and moved there. Over the next three and a half years, we began building a real “adult life” together. David spent most of the week at Sabrina’s place, and we learned how to balance the demands of work, life, and our growing relationship.

By March 2024, David officially moved in with Sabrina. Just a few months later, in August, David proposed in the most perfect spot—out on a jetty of rocks overlooking the ocean in our beach town that we’re lucky enough to call home.

Over the past seven years, we’ve created incredible memories traveling to places like the Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Cape Cod, New Hampshire, Florida, the Outer Banks, Nashville, New Orleans, Jamaica, and St. Maarten. Exploring the world together is one of our favorite things to do, and we can’t wait to continue our adventures as husband and wife.

These years have been filled with laughter, love, and growth, and we’re so excited to start our next chapter together!
