As it is a celebration, second-lines are a popular tradition among Louisiana weddings. It signifies the beginning of a new life together. Usually, the second line brings the wedding guests and bridal party from the ceremony to the reception. The newlyweds lead the procession, umbrellas in hand, while the wedding party and guests follow the band with handkerchiefs.
How Do We Get There?
Please park in the third street garage. A shuttle service will be provided at the Hilton Capital Center starting at 4pm.
What Time Should I Arrive to the Ceremony?
The ceremony begins promptly at 5:00pm, we recommend you aim to arrive by 4:30 pm to ensure you are able to comfortably arrive on time.
What Is The Dress Code?
The dress code is Black-Tie.
What is "Black-Tie" Attire?
"Black-Tie" means that guests should wear their most formal attire. Black-tie attire is typically reserved for formal evening events. Guests are required to choose floor-length gowns and tuxedos (and nice suits) when attending this type of celebration, as this is the most formal dress code.
How Do I RSVP?
To RSVP, please visit the "RSVP' page on our website and fill out the online form. Please RSVP at your earliest convivence and no later than September 1st, 2025. We look forward to celebrating with you.
Are Children Welcome?
While we love the children in our lives, we have decided to make this an adults only celebration. If you have any questions please reach out.
Can I Take Photos or Videos During the Ceremony?
We kindly ask that you do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony. Our photographer will be capturing the ceremony, and we don't want any phones in our photos.
Is This an Indoor or Outdoor Event?
The ceremony is located indoors inside the church. The reception will be outdoors.
