Over the course of our near 10-year relationship, each one of you have shown us love and support and what better way to celebrate than with an epic party - ahem - I mean wedding with our nearest and dearest. Our Wedding

These two met back in 2012 when Mark transferred to Marshall where Sabrina attended school. Mark was friendly, kind, and loved to meet new people....Sabrina not so much. One day, Mark sat next to Sabrina in Spanish Computer Lab and said "Hello!" and Sabrina replied back, "that's not your seat...". Needless to say, the two became fast friends, regularly seeing each other, giving one another relationship advice, and supporting each other through break ups, drama, and everything high school. The summer before junior year, the two skyped (yes, skype lol) EVERY night and on August 28, 2013, Mark asked Sabrina to be her girlfriend...the rest is history. The two have grown graduated, pursued careers, and traveled together. The have never-ending amounts of inside jokes, love, and laughter, built together over the past ten years. They always discussed marriage but were set on the time being right for them. Well, in December 2021, Mark flew his family to Washington, where Sabrina was spending Christmas with her's and proposed Love Actually style. SHE SAID YES! Sabrina and Mark recently relocated to Austin together after spending 7 years always 2 hours a part (whether for work or school), and they had enough. They look forward to spending the next forever together as best friends and as a soon-to-be newly wed couple.

Anjelica is the older sister of Sabrina and 1/2 of her built in best friends. She is the life of the party and knows how to bring the fun. Anjelica is hard-working, dedicated, and the best person to try new foods and talk about True Crime with. Fun Fact: Anjelica has a dog named Sonny and is a PhD student at U of H.

Melissa is the younger sister of Sabrina. She brings the aesthetic and best jokes everywhere she goes. Melissa enjoys coffee shops, exploring new places, and thrifting. Fun Fact: Melissa is a lifestyle and fashion influencer and   is pursuing a masters degree in Washington.

Vivian is the younger sister of Mark. She loves animals, roblox and all trying new art mediums. Vivan is a senior and plans to go to college to become a Dermatologist. Fun Fact: Vivian came into Sabrina's life when she was 8 years old, the two have grown close over 10 years together.

Vivian Ruiz

Erin is one of Sabrina's best friends and college roommates. They met freshmen year of college when their mutual friend, Erin, was looking for roommates. The two instantly bonded over a night of watching Shrek, eating hot cheetos, and the rest is history. Fun Fact: Erin has a fur baby named Loki. She also loves to help her mom on their family farm, raising bees and making farm fresh food.

Erin is Sabrina's high school bff. They met through band and being the only freshmen flute players. After high school, they attended Texas State University and were college roommates. They catch up over a glass of wine (or margarita) every chance they get. Fun Fact: Erin is a fellow bride-to-be! She is also a physicist bad-a*s.

Elizabeth is Sabrina's college best friend. Erin S. (also a bridesmaid!) brought together her childhood, middle, and high school best friends together when we were looking for roommates at Texas State University. Elizabeth and Sabrina bonded over late night Whataburger, Studio Ghibli movies, and racing in Mario Kart. Fun Fact: Elizabeth is a bride-to-be and will be newly wed prior to Sabrina and Mark's wedding.

Monica is Sabrina's middle school best friend. They met when Sabrina first moved back to Texas and knew no one. Coincidentally, Monica's mom actually was good friends with Sabrina's mom back in high school. Their shared connection brought them together. Fun Fact: Monica loves everything Stitch and is amazing at makeup.

When Mark was thinking about who he wanted to stand next to him on the big day, he wanted to choose someone who he shared his greatest memories with. He knew his dad needed to be up there beside him. Mark Sr. shares a love for cars with Mark and offers wisdom about life that Mark lives by.

Christopher is Sabrina's dad and when she brought Mark home 10 years ago, they instantly hit it off. Christopher and Mark enjoy bike rides in Washington when the couple visit, talking about Miatas and making jokes everywhere they go. When Mark thought about putting his groomsmen together, he knew Sabrina's dad wanted to watch the wedding but couldn't leave him out of all of the festivities and duties. Fun fact: Christopher loves 80's music and kills it on the dance floor.

Kyle and Mark met when Erin (one of Sabrina's bridesmaids) introduced us to her now fiancé. They instantly became great friends. Kyle is the first on the dance floor and can make anyone laugh.

Jacob Lara and Mark met when Elizabeth introduced the couple to her now husband. Jacob has become a great friend to Mark, always offering his wisdom, jokes and kindness.

Andrew and Mark became friends back when Melissa and Andrew began dating several years ago. What began as always saying hi at the Martinez' get togethers turned into a friendship. Andrew has the best jokes and delivers the best punchlines. Fun fact: Andrew can solve a Rubrics cube in 12 seconds.
