Sabrina and Scottie’s story began with a simple "like" on an Instagram comment that was no accident. A Christian content creator named Miah Huber had posted to help single Christians connect, and it led Sabrina and Scottie to each other. Scottie’s comment caught Sabrina’s attention, and she left a like. Scottie, intrigued by her faith-filled bio (and cute profile picture of course), noticed her immediately and decided to reach out. What did he have to lose after all? It’s just dating on social media.....
As it turns out, Sabrina also commented on the same Instagram post to support her best friend, Hannah; who wanted the both of them to give dating one more try before they decided to give up finding husbands to become Nuns, and start a remote orphanage abroad.. Thankfully God had His plan to begin taking action!

Their connection deepened through meaningful conversations and shared values. After nearly a month, they met in person for the first time (thanks to Josh and Casey for making that happen!). Sabrina, ever clever, guessed Scottie’s surprise visit, and they finally met, marking the beginning of a series of unforgettable moments together. From celebrating their first Fourth of July in San Diego enjoying fireworks with Sabrina’s grandparents, or her sister Trista’s incredible wedding in Central California, to the road trip across the country and back to meet Scottie’s family and friends; each experience wove them closer together as they laughed, made memories with everyone, and began building their foundation rooted in faith and shared dreams.
When Scottie decided it was time to propose, he knew it had to be special. He chose Disneyland, the perfect backdrop to start their forever. Under the morning sky, in front of the iconic Disneyland Castle, Scottie got down on one knee. He had stealthily coordinated with the Cast Members, ensuring the surprise went perfectly. Right there, in the heart of the "happiest place on Earth," Sabrina said yes to a lifetime with Scottie.
Their bond is anchored by a shared commitment to faith, family, and serving God. From a young age, both felt called to be a spouse, to prepare for a life of purpose together. In each other, they found the partner they had prayed for—a perfect alignment of dreams, values, and a vision of a future glorifying God. Thousands of miles could not keep them apart, as they believe their relationship is a divine answer to their prayers.
Now, as they begin a life together in the peaceful suburbs of Southern California, they plan to build their family on a foundation of faith, love, and service. They will continue to serve at church, support their community, and remain open to the path God lays before them.
Sabrina and Scottie’s journey is a testament to the power of faith, love, and divine timing—a beautiful story that is just beginning!
