Through a mutual friend, Saul and Sabrina first followed each other on Twitter. Over the course of a year, they interacted often on Twitter, and Saul tuned in to Sabrina's YouTube livestreams, where they shared many laughs.

On Sabrina's birthday in 2022, Saul bought Sabrina a birthday present and asked how he could give it to her. Sabrina, reluctant to meet a man from the Internet, agreed to meet up with him at the Raising Cane's across from her house. There, Sabrina and Saul met for the first time over a 3 Finger Combo and a Box Combo with no slaw, extra sauce.

Saul invited Sabrina to attend the Olivia Rodrigo concert in Las Vegas that same year. They bonded over Olivia Rodrigo's "Sour" album early in their friendship, so this was the perfect event to grow closer. Saul had a blast experiencing his first ever concert, and Sabrina had a full circle moment with her favorite artist.

In June 2022, Saul asked Sabrina to go on a "small Ikea date" to look for furniture together, to which Sabrina politely and avoidantly declined, due to not being ready for a relationship. Saul apologized for overstepping boundaries the next day, but they still remained friends.

Saul invited Sabrina to his 24th birthday karaoke on July 2, 2022. Although she was reluctant, Sabrina accepted the invitation in order to return the act of kindness and celebration that Saul offered her on her birthday, in a time where she did not have many friends.

On the day of his karaoke birthday celebration, Saul drove across town to pick up Sabrina since she did not have her driver's license yet. They arrived at 702 Karaoke (RIP) early and sang a few songs together, one on one. Saul's friends filed in soon enough, and Saul busted out his best power songs, dazzling Sabrina and taking her breath away. It was all over when Saul started singing "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys.

As Saul drove Sabrina back home, the two continued their own private car karaoke session, ending the drive with "Marry You" by Bruno Mars.

Within the next week, Sabrina visited Carlsbad, California with her family and searched meticulously for a red beach rock to bring back to Saul. Throughout the trip, Saul and Sabrina texted more and more, and they finally went on their platonic "small Ikea date" after her trip, where Sabrina gifted Saul with his red beach rock.

In the early morning of July 25, 2022, Saul asked Sabrina on an official date, and the two became official a week later. Things seemed to move quickly, but it felt so easy and natural. Within their first year of dating, Sabrina moved into Saul's apartment, they adopted their cat, Ticuu, and bought a car together. 1 year and 1 month later, on August 25, 2023, Saul proposed to Sabrina at Cornerstone Park, where they enjoyed many walks at sunset. Sabrina was completely surprised and thought that Saul was joking at first, nearly telling him to "Stand up," when he got down on one knee and said, "Are you ready for this?"

Nearly two years have passed since then, as wedding planning was not prioritized due to Sabrina's return to school and career change. Since their engagement, Sabrina and Saul's love continues to flourish as they spend hours watching horror movies, singing karaoke, and hosting parties and jam sessions for their friend group.

The day of their wedding, July 25, 2025, will be Saul and Sabrina's 3 year anniversary, and they are ecstatic to celebrate their love with all of their beloved friends and family.
