The Beginning of ForeverJanuary 9th, 2017 - Sabrina, living in apartment #506 near UNI’s campus, was supposed to leave for a mission trip to Costa Rica, but plans changed, and instead, it became her first day at Hawkeye. In true Sabrina fashion, she was rushing out the door, papers in hand.At the same time, Austen was heading up the stairs to visit his best friends in apartment #505. Turning the corner, they ran right into each other.Papers flew, apologies followed, and Austen, being such a gentleman, helped pick everything up while trying to chat about the upcoming Chiefs game, one Sabrina was attending with his friends. In a hurry, she thanked him and rushed off, never realizing she had just met her future husband. Bonus Story #1 January 11th, 2017 - Two days later, while at the gym with her friends, Sabrina spotted a cute guy and called dibs, only to realize it was the same boy from the other day! Bonus Story #2 January 15th, 2017 - Sabrina attended a Chiefs game with her neighbors (and future groomsmen) Maverick and Nick. Between the fun and excitement, she mentioned running into their best friend, Austen.&nbsp;Later, as they chatted about housing, she casually brought up being unsure where’d she live next. The boys casually mentioned "You and Austen would make great roommates." Little did they know how right they were. Bonus Story #3 January 20th , 2017 - On their way to the bar, Sabrina and her bridesmaid, Addie, ran into Mitch (one of they guys from apartment #505) and Austen. Mitch decided to call it a night, but Austen chose to join them for a drink. The conversation was effortless, laughter was constant, and by the end of the night, Austen had both Sabrina and Addie’s Snapchats.Once home, Sabrina saw she had a message from Austen asking if she made it home safely.Calling Addie to debrief, she asked if Austen messaged her too. He hadn’t. That was the moment she knew the spark felt was mutual. They haven’t left each other’s side since!8 years, 8 months, and 4 days after running into each other they'll be married!

There are several parking options near the ceremony site and venue. Please refer to the image below, where parking areas are highlighted in green and yellow for your convenience. - The yellow surface lot at the corner of 3rd Ave SE and 1st Ave SE is designated for the Paramount Theater. If no event is taking place at the Paramount, parking in this lot is free. - We recommend utilizing the parking garage or street parking first. Street parking is free on weekends. -Locations highlighted in red indicate the recommended hotel, rehearsal dinner venue, ceremony site, and reception space. Please allow extra time for parking and walking to the ceremony site!
