In terms of getting to Italy, the closest airports are Brindisi (25 minutes away) and Bari (1.5hr away).

Flights going to Brindisi, which is the closest airport to the hotel, are from London Heathrow and Stansted. There are a number of flights going from London Heathrow, Luton, Stansted and Gatwick to Bari.

We do advise you to book the flights as soon as possible, as half term is the following week so prices may go up later in the year.

It is relatively easy to arrange car hire from either Bari or Brindisi.

Brindisi Airport is quite small and not in the centre of Brindisi so it is not a particularly difficult drive from Brindisi Airport to the Hotel which should take approximately 25 minutes. Car rentals can be picked up from Brindisi when you land and are relatively inexpensive if booked in advance.

Bari Airport is a bit further away. The drive from Bari Airport to the Hotel should take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, it is relatively straight forward with most of the journey being on one motorway.

You do of course have to be aware of Italian drivers who are of the slightly more aggressive variety when it comes to driving

Additionally, a shuttle service can be arranged with the hotel once you have booked your flight. The cost of transfers from Brindisi Airport to Tenuta Moreno Hotel and Spa are:

Transfer for 4 people € 50,00 each way

Transfer for 6 people € 65,00 each way

A taxi from Brindisi airport for c. 4 pax will cost c. €50 each way.

On the Wedding Day, the transport will depart from the hotel and will drop guests at Castello Monaci in plenty of time for the Ceremony.

It is a 20 minute drive.

The transport will then return from Castello Monaci to the hotel at various times throughout the evening with the final coach departing at the end of the wedding.
