Going ot Myrtle Creek Falls is on the agenda for Wednesday. My favorite, out-&-back hike in Bonners Ferry, this is an easy hike for everyone as the distance is only one-mile each way. The waterfalls at the turn around point are spectacular. Pictures don't do it justice!
This is a scenic loop that you can drive, run, or cycle. Eagles' nests are easily viewable from your car. Borrow a pair of binoculars and you might just see some moose. My aunts know the best spots along this route for spotting wildlife.
Located between the Spokane National Airport and Bonners Ferry is north Idaho's gem of a theme park (and water park) called Silverwood. The best thing about it is that it's got great rides, but you won't have to wait in line for hours. Prices are reasonable.
If you haven't been to Glacier National Park, now is a great time to do it, as it is only a 3-hour drive away. Check beforehand for any required reservations.
Personally, I think the lakes around Bonners Ferry rival those of our northern neighbors, but if you're looking to cross the border, Banff is a scenic five-hour drive away! If you decide to go to Banff, consider flying out of the Calgary Airport.
A great addition to the front or back end of your trip. Couer d'Alene Adventures offers a wide range of activities for the outdoor enthusiast.
