I guess you could say that fate finally brought us together, having worked in the same building in Weyburn for close to a year.

Since our first date- there has never been a dull moment. We were always looking forward to the time that we could live together- so we moved into our first place (an apartment, in December of 2022) right after we celebrated Sadie finishing up university by both of our first trip to Mexico!

Shortly after, Ryan was headed back to school in Regina to begin his journey as an electrician. With Sadie bustling through tax season and a good friend as company, Ryan was back in no time. For the rest of 2023 the both of us were focused on work and cattle. Ryan was finally able to attend his first Agribition that November... And still stuck around ;). We had so much fun on our first Mexico trip that Sadie passed the travel bug right to Ryan! We grabbed a few good friends and family and once again made some amazing memories!

About 6 weeks after the trip, we got back and looked at a house that we admired on marketplace. It wasn't the one for us and we weren't in a rush to keep looking... Fast forward a couple of weeks, and marketplace struck again! We fell in a love with a little farmhouse, and a couple weeks later- it was ours. From April until August we were focused on preparing the house site on Sadie's family farm, and clearing the basement so that the house could be moved. the 3 and a half months went by fast, but not without a lot of sweat and some tears! (And a lot of those from other family members- not just us!!)

On August 16, 2024 we officially moved our forever home onto its spot...

A long 2 months later, October 11th, was the first night could officially stay in our house. It was also the day that Ryan decided to get down on one knee and pop the question, in our kitchen!

We are excited to share our special day with everyone come June 13, 2026
