Our Wedding

Ryan and I "officially" met on August 28th, 2021. While we had known each other for years, it wasn't until that night that we really got to know one another. We were at the Sports Page hanging out with my brother, Riley, and some other friends of mine. At some point in the evening my friends decided they wanted to head on over to the Broken Oar and Riley had decided he was heading home. I felt bad that that had meant Ryan had to go home, so I invited him to tag along with us to the Oar. Ryan, of course agreed, so I had asked if I could drive with him over there. While at the Broken Oar we exchanged some small talk, took a shot of Fireball, and then Ryan asked me to dance (there was a band playing) and the rest is history.. After a few years of dating, we welcomed the sweetest, silliest and busiest little boy, Nixen. He can't wait for his mom and dad to get MARRIED!! On March 29th of 2024, we got engaged! Ryan and Nixen had been "pacing" the hall, as I obliviously sat on the couch watching them, thinking he was just walking with Nixen, as he hated to sit still. After a little while, Ryan had asked if I wanted to dance with them. When I stood up to go over to them, Ryan and Nixen got down on one knee. The best and easiest YES!
