Here are some recommendations from the bride and groom!
Tube the Comal or Guadalupe River - Fair warning, these will be packed on Memorial Day weekend and all rivers are alcohol/smoking permitted zones. The Guadalupe is a more peaceful float that the Comal. We recommend renting with a local tubing company and utilizing their shuttle to avoid a long walk back to your car.
Jacobs Well Natural Area - A deep 12ft across spring that is set right in the heart of TX hill country. Go before noon and reserve tickets online if necessary.
Natural Bridge Caverns - A great cave tour for the whole family. Explore the Karst Topography of central Texas.
Schlitterbaun Water Park - Our favorite water park chain to grace the country. You will find no better and New Braunfels is the original. Go early and have a blast! Will be busy during Memorial Day Weekend.
The Riverwalk - Take a river cruise to learn some quick SATX history and plan your walking route.
Weekend Market at The Pearl - Grab some lunch, brews, and artisan honey.
Historic Market Square - A traditional Mexican mercado in our backyard.
Bike the eight-mile San Antonio Missions trail - Better than the Alamo! Go before noon.
Largest Land Bridge in the US - Weirdly enough this is true and its a great hike!
Eisenhower Park Observation Tower - A fun hike that has great views of NW San Antonio.
Brackenridge Park - Our favorite downtown park. Loads of water fowl, bring bread to feed the ducks, geese, and swans!
Jazz TX - The perfect place to end the day with some great food and smooth Jazz.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas - Would definitely spring for a fast pass on a holiday weekend.
SeaWorld - Watch the Sea Lion High and Orca Encouter shows.
