Born just 2 weeks apart, Safiyya and Hussein were instantly "family friends" #iykyk.

They were nappy buddies. They shared toys, snacks and baby giggles.

Little did they know, the lego blocks they were playfully squabbling over would turn out to be the foundation blocks of their future together.

Fast forward a decade or so, Hussein moved to London to pursue his education.

He became best buddies with Safiyya’s brother Rosh which meant he was a permanent weekend fixture at their house.

Despite Safiyya’s expertise in finance, it was Hussein that was working out the various permutations that could land him the ultimate prize.

Three years in, degree complete and job secured; Hussein was now looking beyond football, tennis, and the boys...

It was after an intense game of code names that Hussein realised Safiyya would be his perfect team mate for life and concluded that their potential bond ran deeper than bro - code and had no choice but to pluck the courage to have that conversation with Rosh.

They got together for a first meeting at a top secret comedy club, and just like some twenty years prior, the laughter was constant and real.

Months later, Hussein got his long awaited ‘YES’ and he’s now all set to become her HUSSband!
