Sage and Valentin first met in November 2015 while working together in Ascot, England. Sage was working as a bar maid in the pub, and Valentin was working as a chef in the kitchen. The two loved exploring London together, they quickly bonded over the enjoyment of trying new foods and travelling to new places (just don't ask them about their infamous trip to Portugal).

After two years of living abroad, Sage decided it was finally time to attend university, and Valentin saw Canada as a new exciting adventure. They moved into an apartment in Saskatoon and while Sage was studying, Valentin was trying out various occupations (cooking, silica sand distributing, and train engineering). In Saskatoon they adopted their first cat, Olive.

Fast forward to 2021 and a year of living in a one bedroom apartment during a pandemic. Val and Sage wanted some more space for social distancing and began house hunting. They found a cute house in the quaint town of Eatonia, and quickly fell in love with the small town camaraderie and the ice cream at the 21-44.

Val added a new occupation to his resume, cleaning seed for farmers. This has been his favorite venture thus far, meeting the community one farmer at a time. Sage returned to her love of dance and music, and began teaching in Kindersley, Eatonia, and Leader.

Sage and Valentin realized their new house felt a little too empty. They have since adopted their second cat, Winston. Reluctantly, Olive came around to having a little brother. Sage and Val continue to establish their home in Eatonia and return to France to visit family and friends, they look forward to this next chapter and making more memories together.
