Scout is the best big sister Sage could ever ask for. Scout taught Sage how to be patient, kind, and emphatic. Scout is the strongest and most driven person Sage knows, and is without a doubt Sages number one cheerleader. The two got into a lot of mischief growing up, which always ended in laughter. Sage calls Scout her “ray of sunshine” due to their matching tattoo between themselves and Riley.

Riley, also known as Roo, is Sage’s chosen family. Riley has been Sage and Scout’s best friend since 2000. Riley is smart, adventurous, and resilient. Riley is always someone Sage can count on, no matter the circumstances. Sage knows no matter what Riley will always be in her corner. Riley is Sage’s “star” due to their matching tattoo between themselves and Scout.

Maggie, also known as Mags, and Sage have been best friends since the 1st day of 6th grade. Maggie has been with Sage through every joy and every sorrow. Maggie taught Sage to be nonjudgmental, creative, and reliable. Maggie is the only person in Sage’s life who has permission to call her by the nickname “Sam”, which references to Sage’s legal first name.

Kaitlyn, or also known as KK, met Sage in high school volleyball tryouts freshman year. They became best friends instantly because well…misery loves company! Kaitlyn taught Sage how to be warm, caring, and supportive. Although Kaitlyn and Sage are long distance best friends, their friendship never falters. They never fail to pick up right where they leave off!

Kaylee and Sage met in college at OU when they both rushed the same sorority, Gamma Phi Beta. Kaylee is easygoing, loyal, and dependable. In college, Kaylee was Sage’s go to girl for random target runs and buddy for gphi events. Kaylee is the definition of a true and constant. Kaylee made Sages college experience so much fun! Sage and Kaylee now have so much fun bonding on reading, animals, shopping (a little to much) and traveling!

Claire and Sage met in physical therapy school at OU. They became extremely fast friends as they sat together in classes, practiced together in labs, and studied together. Claire is intelligent, fearless, and trustworthy. Claire kept Sage on track and ensured she did not get left behind. The two are known for getting into laughing fits at the worst possible times, and stalling at tj maxx when they should have been studying. They are also known for having one to many margaritas after an exam!

Martha and Sage were suite mates their freshman year at OU. Martha quickly became one of Sages home away from home people. They were pretty much attached at the hip and did everything together. Martha is fun loving, nurturing, and compassionate. She is not only an incredible friend to Sage, but also a great example on how to be a loving mother. Sage and Martha really connect over their love of reading, music, and adventure.

Sandy and Sage have known each other since 6th grade where they became life long friends. Sage and Sandy have lived through one another's awkward stages, college days, and post grad lives. Sage is most in awe of Sandy’s work ethic. Sandy is honestly one of the most hard working people that Sage has ever encountered, and it makes Sage want to strive to be better. Sandy is also extremely intelligent and a fast learner. Sage is constantly in awe of Sandy and can not wait to see how far the both go in this thing we call life.
