Aaron and Sage knew each other in high school, attending rival schools and showing pigs against each other. Sage always had a massive crush on Aaron, and they had their first "date" at Enchanted Rock in the summer of 2017 before they each left for college.

The two mostly lost touch for those first couple of years with Aaron in College Station and Sage in Lubbock. Fate brought Aaron to San Angelo, along with Sage's parents. When reunited again after nearly three years, the two wasted no time in starting their relationship.

Throughout the next four and some years, Sage would graduate from Texas Tech, move to San Angelo, and start her master's degree while continuing to avidly support Aaron's thriving baseball career at Angelo State. Once he graduated, he would move back to the Texas Hill Country, with Sage soon to follow.

The two now share a life on a hunting ranch out in Mountain Home, Texas, where Aaron works as a ranch manager and Sage works in Kerrville. Miss Kitty and Palmer complete their little family for now, and the house stays busy with their friends and family needing "weekends away at the ranch." They just couldn't stay away from the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
