We reserved hotel blocks at two hotels.

What is the wedding day itinerary?
Good question! The day will go as follows:
4:30 pm CT: Arrival and Seating
4:45 pm CT: Ceremony Begins
5:30 pm CT: Arrival and Seating
6:30 pm CT: Reception/Dinner
11:30 pm CT: Reception Ends
What is the address for the wedding ceremony and reception?
Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held at River Roast at 315 N La Salle St. Chicago, IL 60654
Will there be shuttles to and from the venue?
Nope! The hotels we reserved room blocks for are about a 5-minute walk from the venue. Google it if you don't believe us!
When should we arrive for the ceremony?
Please arrive around 4:30 pm CT OR ELSE, ahem. We mean please and thank you.
Can I bring someone not listed on the invitation?
Unfortunately, we have strict space limitations. Please only bring the people listed on the invitation.
Is there parking available at the venue?
There will be valet parking at the venue.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is cocktail attire - the more colorful, the better. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates.
Will the ceremony or reception be outside?
Nope! But the cocktail hour will be!
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, absolutely.
What food will be served?
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree and sides. There will be vegetarian/vegan/gluten & dairy free options.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, there will be multiple open bars.
Where should we send wedding gifts?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can buy it online and have it delivered to our home. A wedding card box will be at our reception, too.
Can I share photos of the wedding on social media?
Sure, why not.
Will you be livestreaming your wedding?
Nah, fam. Be there or be square.
Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?
Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to family. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.
Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?
Chicago is one of the greatest cities in the world—in the summer. Here are some of our favorite things, places, and food in the city.
Gibson's - Steve's Favorite Steakhouse
Pequod's - best deep dish pizza in the world
Momotaro - Sahsha's favorite Sushi restaurant with Itoko a near second.
Lincoln Park Famer's Market
Emporium Arcade Bar - booze & games
Millenium Park - concerts and movies play in the park.
Lincoln Park Zoo - it's free.
Beachfront - Lake Michigan looks great in the summer.
