Derrick and Saire met in high school. While they can't quite remember their first introduction, they spent a lot of time together in group settings. This photo is from 2018 at an OSU tailgate on campus! Go bucks!

Summer of 2020, Saire finished her commitment to Teach For America and Derrick finished law school at DePaul University, they found themselves reconnecting. Derrick invited Saire to join him in Vermont for a week at his parent's house on Harriman Reservoir where they quickly fell in love.

Derrick followed Saire to Denver, Colorado where their love story has continued!
