It all started with a super like on Tinder — the modern-day equivalent of a fairy-tale spark. Out of all the faces on the app, he stood out right away, and apparently, so did she. Their first conversations quickly revealed a shared love for all things nerdy — games, theatre, and a mutual sense of humor that made chatting feel easy.Before their first date, he asked for her Snapchat… but fate (or technology) had other plans. She got logged out of Tinder and didn’t see the message. She wasn’t even swiping anymore — too excited about the upcoming date to think about the app. Meanwhile, he thought she’d ghosted him.Thankfully, once she finally logged back in, they picked up right where they left off — and decided to meet at El Zocalo, a cozy Mexican restaurant. Over plates of enchiladas, the nerves melted away.The first thing she noticed was the way he crinkled his nose when he smiled, especially when he thought she was cute. The first thing he noticed was how adorably nervous she got — right up to the moment she spilled her water on the table.That afternoon, between laughter and enchiladas, two nerdy hearts found their match — and the rest is their favorite story to tell.
