Ben and Sally never knew each other growing up; however, there were small moments, without their knowledge, their story was being written. Ben attended Sacred Heart School in Fairfield, OH with Sallys eldest sister, Emily. They went to all school masses together and alike school functions without even knowing it.

As time went on, they grew up forging their own paths. Ben attended the University of Dayton the same year as Sallys eldest sister, Emily. He graduated in August 2018 and moved out of his summer housing just two weeks before Sally moved in to her dorm for her freshman year.

Ben took an engineering job and moved near Cincinnati, OH as Sally studied at the University of Dayton. In 2021, Sallys best friend, Stephanie, began dating one of Bens coworkers. That coworker approached Ben, in October 2021, wondering if he was seeing anyone or would be interested in seeing someone. Ben recognized Sallys name from the past and decided to take a chance.

The two began texting and taking time to get to know one another, as Sally had a busy October schedule, preventing them from going out in-person until late October. Upon meeting in a parking garage in downtown Cincinnati, Ben shook Sallys hand, then walked her to a coffee shop across the street.

After this first date ended, Ben and Sally decided to continue to go on dates until Ben officially asked her to be his girlfriend in mid-November 2021.

Since then, Ben and Sally have made endless memories together like going on family beach vacations with Bens family, stayed up late watching Everybody Loves Raymond, and trips to Greenville to visit Sallys sister. Ben has even taught Sally how to golf and they play as much as they can during the nice weather.

Ben and Sally quote Divine Intervention because they believe God put them in each others paths when they least expected it and the sweet moment when they found out that they both take their steaks medium-well (unlike popular opinion :)).
