Nick and I met at the University of Alabama in the winter of 2012. With Nick being from Gulf Shores, Alabama, and me being from Evansville, Indiana, we spent almost every summer vacation apart, but we were inseparable on campus. Being both in greek life and in business school we have a lot in common, and of course we both love the Tide.

After graduating from Alabama in May of 2016, me with my undergrad and Nick with his Masters in Accounting, we decided to move to Atlanta, GA and get a taste of "city life" after college.

On January 7th, 2017, the day after the ice storm in Atlanta, my best friend asked me to be his wife in the middle of Piedmont Park. The storm is relevant because Nick had this amazing plan to take me to the botanical gardens, but everything was closed due to the storm. It was just like us to do something silly and drink a beer outside on the coldest day of the year.
