Sally and Todd’s story sounds as common as any love story. Two people meet, like each other from the start and fall in love. It is that simple, really, but for them it is the most important thing that has ever happened to them.

Sally met Todd inconspicuously and serendipitously, just how you’d expect someone new to come into your life. The first night they sat together, sharing drinks, work talk, and laughter, it seemed they had met someone that just “got them.”

Todd has always said he knew he had to meet Sally because of the kindness in her eyes – like her heart shown through to the world. And Sally’s thoughts on Todd were summed up when she bought him a gift for the first time. Written on it the words, “To my Sweet Man.”

Laughter and affection were the innocuous foundation for a partnership that has already withstood some of the most difficult times for them over the past year. Sally with the loss of her sister, and Todd with his mother’s ongoing illness.

What they learned is that even meeting someone later in life, it is never too late to find the partner you were always meant to have. They have chosen to build their marriage on trust, respect, and most of all gratitude that whatever magic there is in the world brought them together.
