It's 2018 and it all started with trivia: Mike and his friends decide to shake up their routine by joining a weekly trivia night at The Milwaukee Ale House. Sally thought that for a little fun outside of 9-5 hours she would start hosting trivia & was assigned to The Milwaukee Ale house. With cheap wings and $2 tallboys, the fun quickly turned into a weekly tradition for Mike and his friends.

Mike's team loved playing to Sally's humor and frequently won the "Best Team Name" award, earning free tickets to the MKE brewery tour with each win. Eventually, their team collected enough tickets to also invite Sally on the tour, which officially expanded the friendship beyond Wednesday night trivia.

No one expected that trivia would lead to something much bigger!

Our first date was in August 2019 at the Wisconsin State Fair. We did it all—Tim McGraw car karaoke on the ride, horse pulls, the giant slide, fried food, and, of course, the Ferris Wheel. It was the perfect start to an unforgettable journey.

Fast forward 5 years through a pandemic, job changes, a master’s degree, and many unforgettable moments, our journey brought us to a magical proposal under the stars in Mexico. We can’t wait to celebrate our love and start the next chapter of our lives with you on July 26, 2025!!
