They met on a ski trip, and the moment she looked at him—she swears she saw stars. (Granted, she was also heavily concussed… but still. Magic.)

One of their first real dates was a 6-hour round trip to Burney Falls and Mt. Lassen. Before Ryan left, he told his brother, “This will either end in disaster… or I’m going to marry her.” Spoiler: he was right.

Since then, they've spent every chance they could outdoors—hiking, snowboarding, golfing, and getting lost in the best ways together. Over the years, they’ve climbed mountains (literally and figuratively), explored trails near and far, and built a home full of plants, gear, and laughter. Somewhere between road trips and trail mix, they realized they were each other’s favorite person.

Ryan left everything behind to move across the country with her and stood by her side through every high and low of PA school.

Now, they’re so excited to celebrate with all their favorite people in the kind of place that feels like home to them—surrounded by trees, stars, and love.
