Our Wedding

Our story starts at California's Great America in the Entertainment Department. Sam began working as a Theater Technician in July 2013, and Hayley started as a Theater Attendant, also in July 2013. We would meet each other working the same show, Team Charlie Brown, a children's show where Hayley would help attendees find their seats, and Sam would run the show. We worked together for two years, working on other shows together, and eventually becoming supervisors!

Where it all began...

We went on our first date on January 23rd 2015, driving around the South Bay Area. It was such a great date, that we decided that we would start dating immediately the next day! We've been together since then, 9+ years! We moved into our first apartment together in the Summer of 2021, and have been living together ever since. We've even adopted a puppy, Ransom!

The Story continues...

In January 2023, Sam was selected to attend his companys Presidents Club trip to Sugar Beach Resort in St. Lucia, an island in the South Caribbean. We arrived in May 2023, ready for a relaxing vacation, but Sam had other plans... On May 20th, we started the day with a couples message in a rainforest spa, followed by a mani-pedi and a glass of prosecco. After a quick refresh back at the cabana, we made our way down to Sugar Pier, where Sam popped the questions, and Hayley said YES!! After a quick photo sesh, we then had an amazing private dinner on the beach, where we enjoyed some Tuna Sashimi, Beef Tenderloin, and Vanilla Curry Ice Cream with Strawberry Mousse, as well as another bottle of champagne! We ended the night with a private bonfire, and each other.

The big day...

We are very excited to have all of our friends and family come to our wedding on October 5th, 2024!

This is the closest Hotel to the Venue. A little on the smaller side, it sits near the highway, but has a long driveway and beautiful grounds

Travel

Bargetto is not only an amazing wedding venue, it's also a fully operational winery! Their tasting room is open 12-5pm daily, with their final serving at 4pm, and a winery tour Wed-Friday @ 2pm!

Just up the road from the winery is an amazing hike with a Buddhist retreat center, with lodging, classes &amp; spa facilities.

Just down the road is Capitola State Beach, a small beach featuring a pier as well as a variety of colorful shops, bars &amp; restaurants.

Opened in 1941, this roadside landmark is a tilt-induced visual illusion with tours &amp; a gift shop.

The Mystery Spot

The World Famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is a stones throw away! Unfortunately, the rides will be closed during the wedding weekend, but the arcade will still be open!

DIRECTIONS

Often, Google Maps or Apple Maps do not fully navigate you to the front of the house, just to the start of the drive way, and it can be a little confusing on how to get there. Here are some pictures on how to arrive to the house!

This is often where online maps end. You will see these three mailboxes, and you will want to start driving up this driveway behind them.

The drive way will lead to two roads, you will want to take the left one. You should see a sign with the address nearby.

Follow the left driveway all the way up...

The party will be primarily around the pool deck, which you should be able to see from the parking out front, the right hand side of the garage.If you find a little courtyard area with multiple glass sliding doors and a few grills, you have arrived!

Soon after our wedding, our caterer, Cruz Kitchen + Taps unfortunately closed their doors for good.Mia and her team we extremely kind to us, and we really enjoyed her company and the food Cruz Kitchen provided to our wedding.If you have a little bit to spare, consider donating to their GoFundMe, as they try to close out the last of their bills.
