Sam had dinner with a group of friends she met in her organic chemistry class at OSU. Once they got back from dinner some decided to go out, so Sam decided to go to the “pre game” party at one of her friend’s, Alan’s, girlfriend’s place. (Her name is Jess by the way) The group that decided to go out walked 2 blocks from Sam’s place to Jess’s apartment. As they entered, Sam looked around and saw a few people, one was Cameron and the other was Noah. Turns out Cameron was one of Jess’s roommates! Sam brought some drinks for the party and was making them for everyone! They loved them and all were playing games and having a good time. Once the group decided to head to the bars, Sam decided to go back to her apartment.

And that was that…

Later that week, Sam was scrolling on a dating app called Tinder. Now both Sam and Cameron did not take Tinder seriously and only used it to pass time. Sam came across Cameron’s profile and recognized him from the other night, so she swiped to see if she would match with him. Cameron did the same thing sometime earlier. They both matched and started messaging each other on the Tinder app. Sam explained to Cameron that she does not like using this app and felt comfortable giving him her number since she has met him in person and knows he is not a creep 😂 then that night they started texting. As the night went on, Cameron texted and said he had to go and that he would text her later.

Sam waited an entire WEEK… and nothing!!!

She then decided to text him, “Hey Mr. I’ll Text You Later”….

And from that point on they have been talking ever since!

Cameron proposed at Sam’s Aunt Barb and Uncle Todd’s house when they went up to Cleveland to celebrate Christmas! He did it by having Sam sit down and watch a video he made and read a letter once the video was over! Her family was with her and her brother, Vincent, and cousins, Darbie and Caymin, slipped away to help Cameron set up outside. Then Sam followed what the letter told her to do and she went outside to meet Cameron by the pond under white Christmas lights. Once Cameron asked Sam, it was no wonder what she would say!

We set a date for a wedding and then we found out we were pregnant with this amazing little girl! We postponed to this new date at a new venue. Since we have already started our family, we want to continue to grow it and only have a reception with you all to save some money for our growing family. We will be eloping. We hope everyone understands and we are happy to have you here with us!
