Our story began in December 2018 with what was meant to be our first date. That morning, Sam had decided to treat herself to a facial, taking advantage of her day off. Unfortunately, her plan backfired when she broke out in hives, forcing her to cancel our date. Mike, understandably, thought she was bailing on him, but he was in for a surprise—Sam reached out to reschedule.

By January 2019, we finally had our first date, and since then, we've been inseparable. It’s fascinating to think about all the ways our paths might have crossed before—mutual friends, living just three blocks apart, and more. It’s clear that fate had its own plan, and we’re grateful for the timing.

Since then, we’ve built a beautiful life together. We left the hustle and bustle of Manhattan behind and settled in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Our family grew with the addition of Rio, our adorable fur baby, who we’re completely obsessed with. We’ve traveled, hiked, skied, and snowboarded, packing a lifetime of memories into the relatively short time we’ve been together.

As we embark on this next chapter of our lives, it’s only fitting that we begin it with the adventure of a lifetime in Barcelona, Spain.
