We love that you are going to drive! There is so much beauty to see coming into the valley. If you plan to explore around once you are here, we recommend having a high clearance vehicle! Other than that, its Summertime, let's please not PRAY for SNOW this time of year :) … although it does happen, we've been told!

CAMPING in Gunnison, Almont, or Crested Butte
Most camping in the valley is free. We recommend camping in the Washington Gulch dispersed area.
If anyone decides they want to camp, TELL US, we will go put a tent out so it can be saved for you!!
GETTING AROUND Gunnison / Crested Butte
The valley has an amazing bus system that takes you throughout the whole valley. This is great for anyone who doesn't want to rent a car!
ALSO, our wedding venue is right on the bus stop so everyone can take advantage!

This brings you straight to Gunnison Valley! Let us know if you choose to do this, we will help you with logistics to your lodging if you choose not to rent a car!

This airport is 1.5 hours from Gunnison / Crested Butte. This is a great option for all you southwest airlines folks!
There are shuttles from the airport to the valley or you can rent a car!
Grand Junction Regional Airport

Another airport to fly into or out of! Rental car needed, no shuttles to Gunnison / Crested Butte

Right on the base of Mt Crested Butte! You & the family will love this spot, especially with the free bus!
Right now as of January 2024, these are the cheapest rates we are seeing @ $212+tax! If you know you are for sure coming to the wedding, I would at least reserve the Friday (if you are staying the night before) and Saturday!
