Q + A

6pm ceremony at Wild Carrot, 3901 Shaw Blvd

Where can I park?

The Wild Carrot asks that all guests park on 39th street, which runs along the East side of the building. This ensures we do not interrupt parking for the residents of the neighborhood. In addition, there are a limited number of accessible spots available. Please let us know in your RSVP if you need one, and we'll reserve them on a first come, first served basis.

What's the dress code?

Whether jeans or jacquard, we want you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. We'll be taking photos throughout the night, so just make sure you feel your best to be captured on film!

What's the bar situation?

There will be a cocktail hour, as well as a full open bar for the length of the reception. Custom cocktails and NA options will be available. We encourage you to fully-but-responsibly utilize it! Additionally, please consider tipping the wonderful bar staff.

Can I bring my kids?

We wish we could include all of your incredible littles, but we had to make some tough decisions to keep ourselves within budget— especially with 50+ Grush great-grandkids! But if lack of childcare will affect your ability to celebrate with us, please reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate.

The venue is in the city? Will I be safe?

We fully believe the venue and surrounding Shaw neighborhood are very safe; but we understand that guests may have varying levels of comfort. The Wild Carrot provides security starting 30 minutes before the ceremony and concluding 30 minutes after the reception end. Security will be happy to help to and from your car, as well as guide you to the appropriate ceremony entrance. We hope this helps you feel a little more at ease so you can enjoy our shared enthusiasm for the City of St Louis!

Do you have a registry? Where can I send your gift?

You coming to celebrate with us on our special day is the only gift we want! If you'd like to honor us with a gift, please consider donating to one of these organizations that are dear to us on our "Charities to Support" page!

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

Heck yeah! Check out the Things to Do tab for some of our favorite spots. And thank you again for traveling in for our special day!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We ask that you please not take any photos or video during the ceremony, but you're welcome to go wild at the reception! If you post to social media, please tag us so we can see all the beautiful moments you captured.

Will dinner be served?

Appetizer stations will be available during the cocktail hour, and dinner will be served during the reception. The meal will include omnivorous, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. If you have other allergies or restrictions, please let us know! Oh, and there will of course be cake.
