Q + A

Where is your venue at?

Check the "Travel" section for all the location information!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Our wedding is going to be small, intimate, and have limited space; thus, we have to limit it to our close friends, family, and only those listed on the invitation.

Are kids allowed?

Our wish for our wedding was to allow for the parents/adults to be able to take a break and enjoy some time to themselves. Although we only have our fur baby that can be placed in daycare, we understand that finding someone to watch the kids is not always possible so of course kids are allowed. (Keep in mind we will be on the side of a mountain without activities specifically designed kids).

So am I going to have to get through this wedding sober, or can we party?

Great question! There will be alcohol at the venue; however, there will not be an open bar on location, and alcohol will be limited. Our goal is for everyone to have fun, and be safe! (Again we are on a mountain!).

Will you be providing transportation?

For those flying in we will not be providing transportation. For those driving in, there is limited parking at the cabin. (See more in the "Travel" section).

Where's that Registry at? I want to spend my money on you!

While we understand we may be some of your favorite people and would like to shower us in gifts, God has already blessed us so much. Jokes aside, we ask that your presence be the gift you give us at our wedding!

I've never heard of Gatlinburg, what is there to do?

Although those words are blasphemous, Gatlinburg is filled with tons of things to do for adults and kids alike. Go over to the "Things to do" tab to check on our favorite places that we've shared incredible memories with!

A winter wedding... in the mountains? What about snow?

If only God blessed us with the gift of foresight to see if it is going to snow on our wedding day! Even though it is the mountains it is Tennessee, snow typically doesn't fall until the end of December into January; however, there is always the random year that it will snow. If that is the case we do not expect you to drive up a mountain in it, we only pray you enjoy the snowy mountains from the safety of where you are staying!
