Sam first met Peyton working together at D&B Supply in the month of July 2023. After the first week of meeting having conversations together while working Peyton invited Sam to go with her to The Porch, which would soon become a place where they now serve in young adult ministry together. They had their first date at the town rodeo where that was the first of many long conversations about their future together. All the hours spent talking in the truck, driving laps around town was their afternoon routine. Afternoons together eventually turned into their now routines of serving on Tuesday nights at their church with young adults, many hunting trips, including the all year around of shooting their bows and being in the outdoors. Sam proposed in late July of 2025 on a Tuesday night at church, having included the friends they serve with in on the special event. With the wedding now happening in June of 2026, the couple is excited to start this new life together as husband and wife, and continuing to dedicate their relationship to the Lord and serve each other while serving him.
