Jenna and Sam formally met in the summer of 2015 at a State Lakers game with the Faribault Fan Club. We still laugh about how it took Sam over six months to officially ask Jenna to be his girlfriend—that's a long time in high school! They dated through the rest of high school and college, enjoying sporting events, and concerts, and exploring their college towns together while making unforgettable memories.

In 2020, they moved back home and began coaching girls' basketball together, jokingly calling each other coworkers. During the COVID pandemic, they were inseparable and started golfing regularly as a fun, competitive hobby. Spending their free time on the lake and trying new restaurants or bars whenever they could. In 2021, they moved into their first apartment in Burnsville. The next year, they bought their first townhome in Prior Lake.

On July 3, 2024, Sam got down on one knee and asked Jenna to spend the rest of her life with him. Even though everyone knew it was coming, the day was filled with happy tears and excitement. We can't wait to officially tie the knot and start this next chapter together!
