A note on travel:

Traverse City is a tourist destination in the summer and the wedding will be during high season. We recommend booking your lodging as soon as possible. If you are planning on flying directly to Traverse City, please know that you will fly into a small regional airport, and flight options are limited.

Unlike other towns, Traverse City has little to no ride share options. If you are looking into an Airbnb, we recommend looking for options close to the venue or having a designated driver.

Northern Michigan has wonderful home rentals on Airbnb and VRBO. We'd suggest using one of these websites and typing in "Suttons Bay", "Traverse City", and "Lake Leelanau" to see close options. If you'd like some tips, please reach out to us!

There are limited flights every day, so if you want to fly we recommend booking your flight as early as possible!

American Airlines, Allegiant, Delta & United all fly into Traverse City!

You can also fly into Grand Rapids (2.5 hour drive) or Detroit (4 hour drive) and rent a car.

Although Northern Michigan is a popular destination spot, it is difficult to call an Uber or Lyft. We recommend driving, renting a vehicle or scheduling a taxi ahead of time. Taxi companies in the area include Traverse City Taxi, Up North Taxi, Grand Traverse Rides, and About Time Transportation. Please book these ahead of time if you would like to use this option.
