Flying In

John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California, is the closest airport to San Clemente. It's a smaller regional airport so there are not many direct flights.

LAX will likely be the most affordable option (and most direct) to fly into but it will require a 2 hour drive south in a rental car. You could also take a bus from the airport (LAX Flyaway) to Union Station in DTLA, then take the Amtrak train (Pacific Surfliner) to the San Clemente stop. Our Saturday wedding venue is next door to the train station in San Clemente.

San Diego International Airport (SAN) is physically closer to San Clemente than LAX. You can rent a car and drive from there, or you can take a bus from the airport (San Diego Flyer) to the Old Town Transit Center and hop on the Amtrak (Pacific Surfliner) from there.

Take Interstate 5 to avoid toll roads when driving to either San Clemente or Aliso Viejo from LAX or SAN.

Where to Stay

It would probably be the most fun to rent an AirBnb or VRBO in San Clemente, as it's a small, fairly walkable beach town.
If you would prefer to stay in a hotel, we have two hotel blocks:

1) Hilton Aliso Viejo - Laguna Beach (Click here to book, or if you call to book, the code is KSW). Call Garry Cosby at 949-523-6334 if you'd like to stay additional days.
2) Hampton Inn & Suites Mission Viejo (If you call to book, the code is SSW, otherwise copy/paste the following link into your browser: https://www.hilton.com/en/book/reservation/deeplink/?ctyhocn=SNAMVHX&groupCode=CHHSSW&arrivaldate=2025-04-18&departuredate=2025-04-20&cid=OM,WW,HILTONLINK,EN,DirectLink&fromId=HILTONLINKDIRECT. You MUST copy/paste, as the hyperlink will not work for some reason.)

Please note that Sumant and Sam will be in an AirBnb near Ole Hanson Beach Club, not in either hotel block.
