Helpful Hints (After Visiting)

- You will need to complete government forms prior to arriving at the airport in the US for checkin. In addition, you will be required to upload your passport information to your airline. On Delta, the forms become available to complete and download to the app 72hrs prior to the flight departure time. I recommend taking a screen shot or printing the completed document. If the form isn't validated by the time you check in, they will ask to see a physical copy of the form.

-For guests taking the first Delta flight out on either Wednesday the 29th or Thursday the 30th, arriving at 3pm to Punta Cana, we will be providing transportation to the resort. Look for the sign that says Freschi/Lang. The driver will have a list of arriving guests; however, please try to get through customs promptly so we can get the party started!

-I will be reaching out to everyone inquiring about flight arrivals and departures so I can coordinate a private group checkin once you arrive at the resort. Hopefully this will allow for a speedier experience!

-Tipping is not required but I suggest bringing a stack of ones to be able to tip your bartender; this allows for faster service during busy times.

- Remember patience is a virtue as we will now officially be on Island time (:

-Before you leave, please download the "Palladium Hotel Group" app. This app allows you to look up all the restaurant menus (gluten free and vegetarian options are indicated on the menus) in advance and provides a map of where each restaurant is located on the grounds. Also, download the "WhatsApp". This will allow your butler to send you the daily activities and help assist you with making restaurant reservations. You can also chat with your phone contacts and make group chats on the app since it uses the resorts WIFI.

-Our resort is part of the Palladium Group and is attached to three other resorts. All four resorts are completely sold out for our wedding weekend! It's a huge, guarded, and secure resort. TRS Turquesa is the only resort that is Adults Only; we have separate pools, bars, and restaurants just for us! However, we can use any of the other three resorts' facilities/restaurants as we please . Since the grounds are very large, they provide "golf carts" that will pick you up from wherever you are to bring you to wherever you need to be. Just talk to your building's butler or doorman to secure your ride.

-Once you arrive and have checked into your room, I suggest making dinner reservations for every night of your stay with your building butler. The building butlers are available from 7am to 11pm. TRS exclusive restaurants are Kusko (Japanese/ Persian Fusion), Tentazione (Italian), Helios (Steak and Seafood), and La Boheme (French). The menus can be found on the app. Since these restaurants are TRS exclusive they have higher quality dishes.

-I recommend wine lovers consider trying "First Wine." This is a unique wine bar that includes dinner with the purchase of a bottle of wine. I found higher quality wines available here.

-Breakfast is served at Capricio (smaller, TRS exclusive, higher quality) Helios (by beach, TRS exclusive), and at Las Torres (at the family resort).

-Room service comes daily between 9am and 4pm to clean and restock waters/mini fridge. The nightly service makes rounds once during the evening to refreshen your room and see if you need anything else.

-TRS has two main pools. The main pool is close to the beach and located near "The Grill," which serves lunch in the sand. The other pool is called the "Secret Pool" and is located in between the lobby and spa. Both pools have large swim up bars! Each building also features smaller, more private pools around them.

-The gym is open from 6am -9pm. There are cycle classes daily and the butler will send you the workout/ activity list daily via WhatsApp. The gym is connected to the spa. The spa has a great hydrotherapy day pass for $35. This ritual includes a steam room, ice room, dry sauna, cold tub, hot tub, and mud bath. Highly recommend!

-There's an escape room near the shopping strip; this requires a reservation.. There are also tennis courts, pickle ball courts, and basketball courts available first come, first serve. Sporting equipment is provided.

-The casino is open from 6pm-1:30am. Blackjack, slots, and roulette, along with a full bar. US dollars are accepted and payouts are also in US dollars.

-Live music is in each resort's lobby every night with the main show taking place in the outdoor auditorium at 9:30pm nightly. You will need to call a ride as it is located on the other side of the resort. Each night the show will have a different theme!
