If you're in the Center City area:

- Magic Gardens (huge mosaic installation and museum)

- Kismet Bagels (the Jalapeño Cheddar bagel is Sam's favorite)
- Middle Child (best sandwiches for breakfast or lunch)
- For coffee: Jiggy or Suprema
If you're in the South Philly area:
- Angelo's (amazing pizza and cheesesteaks. Cash only!)
- Isgro's (we LOVE their Italian butter cookies)
- Bok Bar (enjoy rooftop views of the skyline over drinks)
- Machine Shop (award winning pastries located inside the Bok Building)
- Essen (our favorite black and white cookies in the city)
- Mighty Bread Company (another award winning bakery)
- Taco Heart (breakfast tacos! On Friday mornings, they host North by Texas to add offer brisket burnt end tacos)
- South Philly Barbacoa
- Pho 75
- For hoagies: Cosmi's, Ricci's, or Antonio's
- Green Eggs Cafe (delicious brunch, but there might be a wait. Cash only!)
- Southeast Asian Market in FDR Park
If you're in the Fishtown/Northern Liberties area:
- Evil Genius Brewery
- One Shot Cafe (we LOVE the Ultimate!)
- Kettle Black (French-focused bakery)
- Johnny Brenda's (we LOVE the veggie burgers here!)
- Frankford Hall (indoor/outdoor German-style beer garden)
- Joe's Steaks (probably our favorite cheesesteaks in the city)
- Yard's Brewery
- Pizzeria Beddia (fancier pizza)
- La Colombe (delicious coffee with other locations, but this one is the coolest)
- Barcade (exactly what it sounds like: bar arcade)
If you're near the hotel (Old City/Bella Vista area):
- Famous 4th Street Delicatessen (classic Jewish deli with massive portions)
- Merrygold (cute boutique for gifts, accessories, and home goods on historic fabric row)
- Museum of the American Revolution
- For coffee: Ox, Three Graces, Rally, Shot Tower, Wim, Red Hook
- For ice cream: Cuzzy's, Franklin Fountain
