Sam and Chloe first met during their freshman year (2014-2015) at Badin High School. Throughout the year and in the summer following, they remained in the same friend circle. During their sophomore year (2015-2016), Chloe and Sam were placed in the same math class, where Sam was seated directly behind Chloe. The two hit it off, and began a closer friendship. Finally around Chloe's birthday in February of 2016, Sam worked up the courage to begin texting her. The two went on their first few dates and began dating in April of 2016. By the time they graduated high school (2018), Chloe and Sam knew they were in it for the long haul. They went through five years of long distance while Sam attended both Marietta College and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee for baseball. Chloe remained at home attending Xavier University, but spent much of her college years travelling to watch Sam play. Chloe and Sam got engaged in November of 2022 and cannot wait to finally be married!
