Our Story

Our story begins with two starry-eyed dreamers, watching and reading stories about "true love" from Pride and Prejudice, or any number of hallmark movies and wishing it for themselves.

Mikayla had sized up her options, Sam had a few flings, but nothing worked out... as one of his favorite songs goes, "Where would I ever find my one true love? If I'm just patient, she'll come from above..."

The Father's plans for Sam & Mikayla was set in motion over 10 years ago with a friendship. Sam & Colette met in highschool, grew in our faith, and eventually joined a singles group for like minded people (after they both embraced the Torah Observant lifestyle), and she happened to see a facebook post in the group of a very cute girl in KY. She did not think anything of it at the time, until Sam saw the same post and shared it with her. At that point, Colette knew what had to be done, what the Father had appointed her to do.

Colette replied to the post, and "wingman'd" for Sam - not taking any hesitation from him! Now what was he supposed to do? Well reach out of course! An opportunity like this is rare indeed.

At this point, Sam began discussions with Michael & Kathy, two loving parents that wished to protect and provide Mikayla with a good suitor. With honest questions and honest answers, it was determined that Sam & Mikayla seemed to be a good fit for each other... little did they know then just how well-designed the fit was!

Sam & Mikayla took to each other like peanut butter and jelly, and though they had both determined previously that they wished to go slow and get it right - sure to make the next one the last one - the Father awakened a realization in them. This man, this woman, is the partner that the Father has protected and set aside for each other.

Did they say they would go slow? Yeah right! In only 4 weeks Sam & Mikayla were ready and proceeded with a blessed courtship, and less than 4 weeks after that he proposed! "Many waters cannot quench love, nor will rivers overflow it..." Song of Songs 8:7

With excitement, the couple now eagerly awaits not only the coming betrothal and wedding, but to enact the will of our Heavenly Father in their union and lives together - what greater duty is there for man?

"So let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; Fear YHWH, and keep his commandments: For this is the whole duty of man." Ecclesiastes 12:13

We greatly appreciate the love and support of our friends and family, we look forward to seeing you, those who can make it, and will dearly miss those that are unable.

It is our prayer that our lives and dedication to the Father in remembrance of the love of Yeshua be a light for your paths.

"May YHWH bless you, and keep you;

may YHWH make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you;

may YHWH life up His countenance on you, and give you peace."

B'shem Yeshua HaMashiach, Sar Shalom - in the name of Yeshua the Messiah, the Prince of Peace, amen.
