I met you on the first day of middle school. A new school. Unfamiliar faces. I saw you through a crowd. You immediately caught my eye. Your dad pushed you in a wheelchair through the door of Mrs. Caprioli’s homeroom. One broken leg, two broken arms. You were a hot mess. But something about you made me want to know more. Months passed and you weren’t in school. Home schooled for months due to your dirt bike accident; we never got the chance to talk…

Fast forward 5 years later, and we somehow found our way back into each other’s lives. I will forever reminisce about all of the bonfires, boat rides on the pond, wheelies on your dirt bike, and the love we shared, summer of 2014.

Everything feels easy and perfect; like nothing can go wrong at age 17, but together we got through some of the hardest times of our lives together. We grew up together from high school graduation, 2 colleges, 5 apartments, Covid, exploring across the country, and now- choosing to spend the rest of our lives together.

You proposed at the waterfall we’ve visited almost every year since we started dating. That will forever be a magical place for me.

10 years of traveling, adventure, new experiences, and true happiness; I cannot wait to see where the future takes us.
