We met at UWEC in the fall, and one of our first dates was apple picking. Every year we bake an anniversary apple pie!

After graduation, James moved to Madison and Sam moved to Chicago. We visited each other on weekends and had tons of great adventures.

We did more long distance between the Midwest and California during the Pandemic. Eventually, we were both finally living in the same city again!

Iceland was our first of many international trips together. We continue to make time for trips together every year.

During one of our adventures, James popped the question on a green sand beach in Hawaii. We can’t wait for our next adventures as husband and wife!
