Our journey began in the hallways of early high school, but it wasn't until we found ourselves side by side in service at a local youth ministry where it all began to unfold. As we served together and shared of our love for the Lord, a beautiful friendship blossomed, centered around discussions of God and our shared passion for working with youth.

After a while of just talking and serving, Sam took a leap and invited Ally to go to the Zoo lights together during the Christmas season. Ally's enthusiastic acceptance marked the beginning of a new chapter, accompanied by a touch of nerves that led her to enlist the company of good friends Amanda and Ethan for a memorable double date.

Amidst the festive lights, an unexpected encounter with a wandering peacock became a defining moment. Sam's playful pursuit and catch of the bird revealed a glimpse of the exciting, unpredictable journey ahead. It was then that Ally sensed life with Sam would be anything but ordinary.

Months of shared laughter, meaningful conversations, and countless dates later, Sam made his move, officially asking Ally to be his girlfriend. Fast forward to October 2023, nearly three years into our incredible journey, Sam dropped to one knee and asked Ally to be his forever. The next chapter of our love story unfolds as we joyously anticipate the celebration of our union, surrounded by the love and support of family and friends.
