Sam and Hadyn met in January of 2017 at First Baptist Church of Huntsville when Hadyn was a junior in high school and Sam was a senior. Their first date was at a haunted house (Hadyn’s idea) in October of 2017. They officially became a couple on November 10th. In high school, Hadyn went to dozens of Sam’s baseball games and Sam cheered along at Hadyn’s cheerleading competitions. Since then, Sam and Hadyn have supported each other at their high school and college graduations and in pursuing their future careers. They have made many memories together in traveling to do mission work in the Dominican Republic, skiing at Beech Mountain, exploring Charleston, Gatlinburg, Nashville, taking camping trips, and many family vacations.

Hadyn received her undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University where Sam and Hadyn spent weekends in Starkville going to football and baseball games. Sam and Hadyn are happy to be back in Huntsville together while they continue to pursue their careers.

Sam proposed to Hadyn in Chattanooga on October 14, 2023 where they had their one year anniversary date in 2018. Sam completely surprised Hadyn and invited their immediate families to celebrate the engagement. Sam and Hadyn are incredibly blessed to have grown up with each other and with the support of their friends and family. Their wedding day will not only be a celebration of their love and commitment to one another, but also a thank you to the community who have shaped them and continue to support them.
