Our Wedding

Sam &amp; Autum's story began long before they even knew it started. In 2018, they both began working at Rounders Sports Bar while attending college in Mankato, MN. They spent many late nights (iykyk) &amp; hours working together. Even though they knew each other and worked together every single weekend, (yes, both Autum &amp; Sam have always been workaholics) Autum &amp; Sam did not realize their spark until the summer of 2020. When Rounders was finally able to reopen during COVID, the two found themselves working together even more frequently. Most days, Sam was behind the bar and Autum was serving tables. During this time they were able to get to know each other outside of the crazy late night shifts. The day that changed everything: After a long lunch shift, Sam shared with Autum that he was going out with some other coworkers later that night. At first, Autum decided to spend the night at home with her roommates. However, after a little liquid courage, Autum called Sam and decided to meet up with him downtown. They spent the night out laughing &amp; talking. They then found themselves hanging out before &amp; after work, and even on their days off. They became inseparable. Later that school year it was time for Autum to leave Mankato, and begin her internships for grad school. They were left with the infamous question... what's next? You guessed it- Sam followed Autum back to Rochester, where they moved into their first apartment together. The next few years were filled with finishing school, traveling, job hunting, working many (more) hours together, new friends, personal growth &amp; so much love. In July of 2024, Sam &amp; Autum purchased their first home together. Of course after dating for 4 years &amp; now owning a home together, Autum was starting to get (even more) antsy about when Sam was going to pop the question. She was not alone in this though. All of their family &amp; friends had asked Sam when he was going to propose approximately 500 times. Then (finally) on August 8th, 2025- one day before their 5 year anniversary, Sam pulled off the surprise of a lifetime. A plan he &amp; Autum's family had kept secret for months was pulled off flawlessly. Of course she said yes!! Sam &amp; Autum cannot wait to continue their story as Mr. &amp; Mrs. Schmaedeka!

We have a block of rooms reserved at the GrandStay Hotel in Cannon Falls. When you call to make a reservation, ask for the Erickson-Schmaedeka room block for a discounted rate ($134+tax/night). We will have a shuttle from the venue to the GrandStay- ***add shuttle times**** Make sure to take the shuttle, an uber, or have a designated driver if you are drinking :)
