Sam and Alex met doing what they love most - acting! The pair met in the Fall of 2015 at Columbia's MFA Acting Program.

Over the course of their time in school - the two went from best friends, to partners!

Alex and Sam graduated from grad school and got to experience LA together for showcase!

Fast forward a little bit - Alex and Sam moved in together in Brooklyn and loved experiencing all things Brooklyn had to offer. Including Chilo's Tacos, local coffee shops, Sunset Bagels, and many many more restaurants. Food is love!

A global pandemic hit and the two fell more in love. Hanging out every day together and exploring Brooklyn's beautiful Greenwood Cemetery became a regular activity. Sam and Alex lovingly joke that they miss the pandemic because they got to hang out all day, every day!

Of course they did the pandemic thing and rescued their puppy Ned, who quickly became a member of the family.

The Simone's and the Stene's met for the first time in another favorite spot - The Hudson Valley! Everyone got along and we knew this was the beginning of Stimene gatherings.

Alex and Sam took their first trip to Vermont, and fell in LOVE (with Vermont...we were already in love, FYI). On this trip we picked out Sam's engagement ring.

CRANFORD! We moved out of the city and bought a house! As seen on HGTV's House Hunters...

The Simone and Stene family celebrated Thanksgiving and Theresa's birthday together!

Sam and Alex went back to Vermont to celebrate Allison and Steve's wedding - and were reminded why they love Vermont so much!

Alex and Sam took their summer vacation in Ithaca - where Alex proposed!!!
