Although Sam and Lindsey's love story begins after meeting on Hinge and a first date at Fire by the Monon, it turns out Sam and Lindsey had met 6 months prior for an in-person work meeting. Lindsey caught onto this sooner than Sam. Despite there only being 6 individuals in this work meeting, Sam never remembers having met Lindsey. After quickly realizing what they would never agree on (dogs vs. cats, sports fandom, whether spoons are better than forks), they easily learned all the things they have in common (love of sports/golf tournaments, exercise, travel and a clean house). Sam and Lindsey have survived Lindsey's attempt to learn to ski (more trying than you'd think) and two moves (Indy-->Cleveland-->Indy). On May 1, 2021 during a surprise trip to Hocking Hills, Sam got down on one knee and asked Lindsey to spend forever with him. She replied with a very teary YES. They are excited for all the future has to hold as Mr. & Mrs. St. Germain!
